This newly renovated serene two bedroom private back house sits far away from the street and fifty feet behind even the front house. Among the mini orchard of citrus trees and flowering foliage you can enjoy the views of the mountains from the private back porch as you drink your morning Nespresso or sip on your evening glass of wine as the sun sets behind the trees.

A well appointed kitchen with all new appliances is perfect for chefs. The completely renovated bathroom is clean and modern.

This peaceful back house offers the best of both worlds. You’re a short walk to cool things right in our neighborhood, a quick car ride to hip Highland Park and all its bustling nightlife, and yet still close to all the natural wonder that California offers.

The carriage house is above our three car “garage”. We do not use the garage for parking, only for storage however we may go into the garage to get stuff if needed. The upstairs part of the house is completely private.

The living room has newly redone hardwood floors, clean white paint, a comfy black couch from Room & Board. There’s a 55inch television hooked up to Netflix. We do not have broadcast TV or traditional cable service however the WiFi is coming in at 400 MBPS and you can stream plenty of shows.

The kitchen and dining area are opened up to the living room. The kitchen has a bar with two stools as well as a kitchen table with two chairs. The kitchen has a gorgeous view of Eagle Rock and our back orchard. The new fridge, stove, sink, dish washer, and exhaust fan are perfect for making a great meal.

The bathroom is newly remodeled with new tile, new tub, toilet, sink, etc. The built in recessed medicine cabinet and tall mirrored cabinets allow for plenty of storage.

The master bedroom has a nice queen size bed, a dresser, two night tables and reading lamps, an alarm clock with USB charging cables for any device you may have. There’s a giant closet and full length mirror for dressing.

The second bedroom has a full size (double) bed, dresser and it’s own private deck that looks out over the backyard. There’s a big closet for your clothes.

The house has brand new central air not pictured in these photos. The wall ac and heater have been removed.

The back deck has two chairs, and a small table for enjoying a drink or just hanging out on the back deck.
